I am new here and to vbulletin so I will appreciate any help. I tried to install vbindex and the installation process seemed to go ok, but then when I tried to go into admincp I got the following error:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_GLOBAL, expecting '{' in /home/caitsith/public_html/forums/includes/functions_calendar.php on line 231

I went into the file and to line 231, but there was nothing on the line. I didnt really no what to do so I just added a { because it was in quotes. This is probably nothing like what I was supposed to do and it didnt work. Anyways, if anyone knows what the problem is please let me know. Also, when it says that the error is on 231 does it mean line 231 including lines with no text in them or line 231 of text.

Edit: Sorry, I didnt try to install vbindex it was one of the other portal mods. Sorry for wasting your time.
