I'm starting a new vbulletin on a website and i just want to know if i can do all my coding and testing without first uploading all the files into my web host. I just want to code and test everything on my local host before i begin.

IIRC in vB's user license, it's okay to run a closed test server, as long as it's not public. Check their site to be safe though.

By either running it on your localhost, or in a password protected directory on your webserver.

Thanks for the help...
Regarding the password directory, do i just set the password directory with Windows OS. (i.e. I just go to the folder and set the password) P.S. i am extremely new to PHP and MySQL... |
