for some reason, the modules do not use the ccs of the forum style kinda... stuff like class='alt1' alt2 works fine, the colors show up. but then stuff like class='tback' my forums has a graphic for it, it doesn't show up.

Do any of your modules reference that class in it's templates?

yea it does, it just doesn't show up.

class like "t_cat" or something like that, that's standard stuff, but it doesn't show up, it shows up fine on forums tho.
