I would love to be able to independently move around my forum and "flag" threads that should copied over to a moveable type blog. Only the first post in that thread would viewable in the blog (put in appropriate categories of course) and if the reader clicked on comments he would then be moved to a forum environment.

What does this do? This gives you the best of both blogging and forum worlds. Any member in the community could participate in the blog, but a reader could simply check out the blog for all the best content if they didn't want to wade around in the forum...

I can't believe no one has done this yet! I would certainly pay good money to have the capabilities...
