It is a download database that integrates into vBulletin. It allows you to upload files, create folders, link to external files - and more. It is very flexible and has many options. Sorry, no screenshots. Maybe if someone is nice they will provide a link to the latest version of ecDownloads for everyone to view it.
Changes in 3.2
- Too many to list... its a whole new world
Known Bugs:
- Missing phrase in add file (on nav bar)
- No file protection, add it here if you want: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=174
- Missing phrases (ecdownloads_can_edit_all and ecdownloads_can_view_disabled) in admincp
Install
Make the file edits in ecDownloads.txt
Upload the contents of 'upload' to your forum directory
Run the downloadinstaller.php file in the admincp (install/rebuild styles and phrases)
Create a directory called 'downloads' (or whatever you put in your settings) and make it writeable and executable
You say your next release will have "images". Are you refering to screenshots?
If I may submit a few requests...
- The ability to enter a file size for those linked items since you cannot seem to detect their file sizes.
- Have an admin selectable sort order for the downloads themselves.
- Have category/download items where they can have an icon beside them
I have a great interface design that would only be suitable if there were screenshots available for this.
good ideas, ill probably incorporate filesizes for linked downloads and an admin selectable sort for downloads. In addition, I may include icons for categories (and descriptions). As to what images means, yes, you will be able to upload multiple images per file (like comments) and see them right below the file. However, I do not plan to add images for each file. Your other ideas were great, and will be included by version 2.5.
I have to admit it, I really like what you've done ron1n. Again, sorry for the secure downloads links, I thought this hack dead in the water but you've (thankfully) proven me very wrong. I like the changes very much.

Thanks for the kind word. Now rate the file 5/5?

You failed to follow directions, but no problem, i can fix it. Upload the new config file download_config.php into forum/includes/ and you will be all set. I changed the variable name for ordering from d_order to order.
If you still have the same problem, download your download_config.php and paste the contents.

how can i solve this problem.
my download dir is chmod 777
Which is your download folder? htdocs or downloadsimage? Remember to add a trailing slash to the end of BOTH urls in your settings. Also, are you sure the file had ++++ in it? I thought I set up file_prep() to remove all funky characters. :O

The requested URL /home/web/htdocs/downloads/image uplo lo-fidelity testing [76299].jpg was not found on this server.
now i checked my ftp and the file IS there.. so whats wrong?
Take a screencapture of your settings panel in the admincp and then a screencapture of your FTP program that shows that image uplo lo-fidelity testing [76299].jpg is there. I'll figure it out from there.
