Default Add to users ignore list

Is there a hack for this already?

I have two members who are having a problem getting along. Neither one deserves to be banned, but I need to enforce that both of them stick the other on their ignore list. One of them has complied, the other has not.

Is there a hack that will allow me to add a user to another's user's ignore list?

Thanks

How? In the admin area I cannot edit buddy lists or ignore lists (version 2.3x).

You can easily edit any part of other user's setting by going to phpmyadmin, providing if you have that on your server. However you should be careful when you are in there. Given that you might cause error if you do something wrong.

You should be able to change their setting by going to User Table, browse and edit the user. The user are by default sorted by User ID.

A hack which would add a userID or UserName to a hidden Ignore List would be helpful, but you'd need a global way to do it, where the ID or Username is not visible by anyone.

The idea would be to ignore him globally, not showing up in anyone's ignore list. An option to make sure his/her posts appeared to his/her friends would help go a long way as well. This way their friends would see the posts, but the majority of the community would not.

Admin's or moderators could see a list of "globally ignored" users. Anyways, it's just a thought.

Which table and field can this be found? I searched and it wasn't obvious.

It would be nice if you could add to member's ignore list or have a special option for admins to see only when looking up another user in admincp...a place you can add additional users to be ignored by the user you are viewing/editing. Yes, there are things you can do in PHP MyAdmin...but it can be time-consuming and cause problems if not done correctly. Having it in admincp would make it much easier.
