phpMyAdmin
I have been using this program for some time now, but never ran into this problem.
What happens is when I create a table, with a field thatautoincreces, the field just disappears. When I try re-creating thatfield on it's own, it doesn't recognize 3/4 of the query. Nothing after ADD gets recognized.. Does anyone have any idea why? And FYI the latest version of phpMyAdmin IS installed. SQL-query: ALTER TABLE `fc_game` ADD MySQL said: #1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax near '' at line 1 |

I was using the interface provided, so the query was done by phpMyAdmin (I didn't type it out, just selected the options and hit Submit).

You trying to create a new table, or alter an existing one by adding a new column/field ?
You could try running a manual query, see if it works. |

First I created it (and the stubborn field was ignored), then I alter it by adding the missing field back in, and the same thing happens.
I will try that cinq. It worked manually, anyone have any idea what caused this? |

Could be that phpMyAdmin is not functioning correctly after an upgrade to the latest version. Perhaps the problem lies within its config file. Does a config file change with upgrades?
Update: The problem is on my server and the webhost has now fixed it: Quote:
