I want to auto close threads in a selected forum so it acts more like a guestbook and other people cannot reply, is this possible and how can i do it?

You can do this simply setting the permissions on the forum for each usergroup. They will not really be closed but you can set that others can not reply.

also you could just install a guestbook?

auto close instantly and i thought of the guestbook option but prefered a forum... i have sorted it now anyway, thank u
