Default tons of templates...mod to backup and restore!
Hi folks,
I have tons and tons of custom template just like probably most of u have on ur baord. One of my nightmare wud be to mess up/delete the custom template or parent template and having no backup to restore with.

It would be REALLY cool to have a mod which would backup ur template frm skins/styles and restore when needed.




just a thot for a mod when ur bored

should there by a Download / Upload Templates option, i checked source files.. didnt see it there.

The template structures are stored in the styles

im apologise for not explaining this clearly....
by tempelates.. i mean navbar, forumshome, etc.... custom templates i created and tons that are modified by me....sometime in each skin.

This is still all backed up when you download the styles. So if you download a style you are backing up all templates including any modified ones.

Not sure but i think you ONLY backup maodified ones.

lol.. yeah thats rite.. but come'on im sure most forums use custom created templates!!... for portal stuff.. for internal modification.. and addons.

How about a mod... that will
1. backup all my templates...custom and modified - BOTH
2. from the default/parent/selected style
3. Store it some place.. in database or on a file (that i can download...watever)

4. if I loose all or some or 1 .. of my templates.. then i can run the mod to restore it back to that particular style

addon idea.
templates are backed up automatically each time a change is made to them.

1. ANY TEMPLATE THAT HAS BEEN CHANGED IS CUSTOM - they are backed up
2. YOU CAN DO THAT ITS CALLED AN OPTION
3. DOES THAT TOO
4. WHOA IT ALSO DOES THAT!
