30posts to pm how?

how do i make it so that new members cannot use pms until they have say 30posts
please give me step by step help as im not very clever

Usergroups and Promotions.

Go into your usergroup manager, and set the permission to use PM's to "no".

Create a new usergroup and set it to allow PM's.

Go into the promotions and create a new one that moves member in the first usergroup to the second when they hit 30 posts or a certain date or whatever criteria you want.

Voila, done.

what should i call them/

go to what usergroup 1st?

Create a usergroup "PM Allowed" based on "Registered".
Set PM permissions for "Registered" to No.
Create a promotion to promote users from "Registered" who have made at least 30 posts to "PM Allowed"
