Thanks SVT ,that worked, still cant get anything to play. Went to a radio site, listened online . Copied the url ending in .asx and added it to my site, nothing
Got this working on VB 3.0.6 and it works perfectly ... anyone got a list of stations handy ? or even a method to find them , the ones on it work ok , but id like a better selection if possible.
There are several sources listed throughout this thread. It would be convenient, though, if they could all be listed at the top with the hack description.
Make sure you have your RADIO template in that style setup. Sometimes upgrading can make your RADIO template disappear too (happened to me after I upgraded a couple of times...)
I haven't been through every post, there's a lot of pointless posts, but I found that using Media Player 10 and Firefox 1 (latest of each)
you will most likely see connecting... right away even before selecting a station, hit the play this station button to start a stream (within 6 or so secs) (though I have altered the RADIO template to include the controls, which firefox plugin doesn't ignore.
once you start streaming the first channel in the list, you can then select any channel at will with good ol' Firefox.
Apologies if this has been mentioned already, but this hack thread is getting cluttered quick
Great Hack
