Could it be that holidays are the reason why so many security vulnerbilities are being discovered at the moment?
actually i belieave it is because of holidays, spring break, and summer. Its the exact sameway on video games that is online. Its horrible on how many glitchers (mostly kids) are on during those times but any time during school its almost a rare find except those ignorent parents who let their 5year old play a killing game. but their are barely any during the times when theirs no vacation except weekends.
Its the samething for vb but I find it more into a low life position to sit down all day on the computer and try to find a tiny hole which is pretty much pathectic and really needs a life.
I understand its for our benefits that there are upgrades... but are we expecting a 3.0.7 next week? lol
That's why I have only patched what needed to be patched and holding out for the next big release. Way too many hacks to re-do and I would have put my fist through the monitor if I would of did those hacks several times over.

I have around 20 hacks installed too and upgrading only took me about.. 40 minutes. That includes uploading the new vB files, and re-editing all the file edits required for hacks.
Seriously guys, I don't see why this is such a big deal.. Those not upgrading are at risk for being hacked, which if it does happen, will be a much longer/aggrevating process than taking 40 minutes out of your time to upgrade..
I, for one, enjoy upgrading.. And I'm glad we keep getting releases like this cause I feel I'm getting my moneys worth now..

Dude, don't re-edit the files. Use a file compare program - you can upgrade in 15 minutes max. No need to keep track of your hacks at all.
Sheesh, this is getting silly, bug fixing the fixes now .......
Exactly. But it's the nature of software. Coders can't think of everything or test everything - a security patch needs to be released ASAP. It's like PHP 4.3.10 - fixes 1 security bug but created another bug.
