RPG Hack FAQ

This is where all questions are answered. You are obliged to read the FAQ, because any question that are answered in the FAQ will be ignored.

• My items/weapons/spells/armor won't work in battle! Help!

Enter your Admin Control Panel, click on "Edit Items", then next to the category of the stuff that does not work in battle click on "Edit", then from the Battle Type dropdown, select the appropriate Battle Type. Then click Save.

• I tried the above, but my items/weapons/spells/armor STILL won't work in battle!

Enter your Admin Control Panel, click on "Edit Items", then find the category you want to fix, and change the "Buff" value of the item, then save it.

• "Buff"? Hey Revan, speak English!

Haha, ok. Buff controls alot of things.

• If the Battle Type is Spells, it controls the Damage dealt/healed.
• If the Battle Type is Items, it controls the Damage healed.
• If the Battle Type is Weapons, it controls the Attack Power.
• If the Battle Type is Armor, it controls the Defence Power.
• If the Battle Type is Shields, it controls the amount of damage Shielded when used in battle.

• When will the next version be released?

When it's ready. I admit, I'm not working 100% on it. I got school, friends on MSN, and I play online games like Final Fantasy XI and Lineage II (which I'm addicted to).
I do still work on the hack. I don't have any plans of ever abandoning the hack. Slow, maybe. Gone? Never!

• When I try to view a thread, I get this long SQL error!

mysql error: Column: 'type' in on clause is ambiguous

eh?
Well then, all you have to do is delete the "AND type = 'post'", then it will go away.
But I really suggest to upgrade to the latest version, as this query appears to come from an outdated and unsupported version.

Then you have to enter the AdminCP -> Battle -> Edit Battle Options -> RPG Name Field. Make sure this matches what field ID you see in the Profile Field Manager.
