seems nothing really gets selected for it now, not the welcoming of new staff members, the merry xmas messages, it seems to be dead

Actually the front page news are independant from the announcement forum, and are writte seperatelly.

I wanted to post the Staff news directly after the merge, as i didn't expect it would take that long
