Super Mod Permissions?
Well on our forums, I am very protective of anything happening on the forum in regards to administration. I don't want to see any financial investment being lost due to some idiot being given Administration/Moderator access. Also because we are a gaming community, we attempt to keep our IP Addresses well protected and restricted to Admins Only.
I know that there are Administrator Permissions under Usergroups, but is there any way or any hack that I can install, besides renaming the mocp folder, to stop my Super Mods from being able to access IP information or Ban user options? I would like to keep them as Mods for all forums, but just be able to place restrictions on their powers. I have not encountered any controls/hack for this as of yet, so any help would be greatly appreciated. |

As for moderator IP Permissions goes, It works well when you dont give View IP Permissions to moderators in there respective Forums.
But this thing dont works with supermoderators, you can just hide those IP Fields using template hacks as it was recommended to me. But if a super-moderator knows how VB works he can definetely check the IPs . I am looking for a code change too, which can help hide the IPs for all usergroups except Administrator Group (UserGroup 6 in my case) some way. (dont bother if I have to hardcode this somewhere) Regards, Sandy... |
