Right now my forums have the default style. I want to change the colors but I'm not sure of what colors to use or where to place them. I have some colors that I've been using from my main site but I don't believe I have enough colors and more importantly, I have no clue how to place them on the site (I have a very hard time with visual layouts and color schemes). These are the colors I have so far (these are what are used on the main site):
Background color: #F3F3F3 Other colors: #295079 #CEDAE3 Some of the text is #295079 and other text is #000000 (though it doesn't have to be that on the forums, this is how it is on the site). I've tried finding some complementing colors in Photoshop and I can't seem to find the right ones (the ones I've picked so far don't look all that great) and I also can't seem to place them on the forum and make it look nice. Any suggestions on colors and/or where they should go would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! ![]() |

Oranges and reds should work nicely for secondary colors. Things like #802114 or #804414 for darker variations and #BFA189 and #E0D1CE for lighter variations.
Of course, this all depends upon the overall mood you wish to project. For a more livelier and vibrant mood you may want to use brighter, more fluorecent colors. |
