Hello, new to vb. Im gonna order it as soon as i find out more info. I have a phpnuke site at present

About VB:
I don?t want the forums to be my front page but I want to have a page where I can post the latest news and so on.

I want to have a front page similar to http://cz28.com or http://gminsidenews.com

You know like you have a front page in phpNuke? EX: http://nukecops.com

Who has one they can share when i get vb?

There are a few portal style front page hacks here at vB.org. I'm using a modified version of vBadvanced CMPS on my site, here.

Although I believe this is the most versatile, they are all very similar.

Is there any way to have my left sidebar on in the froums as well?

check out my site at http://co59.com I'd like to have the left bar on every page (and in the forums) with my google ads like i do right now. Is there one close to that? or can I have you modify yours for me?

I really don?t know what I am doing with VB (didn?t even get it yet)
