it basically rebuilds the datastore caches I need to rebuild 'usergroupcache' and 'forumcache' in datastore over multiple vb forums/database at once from an external program that does not include/require any vbulletin functions/methods maybe someone has done something like this already? please please help =) |

can someone at least explain the logic of rebuilding the usergroupcache and forumcache?
The problem I am having is that when I insert an usergroup and adding forum permissions to it by simply issuing a query directly into mysql, the usergroup list I see in the admincp is not updated; unless I change something in the usergroup, which then will cause the datastore to be rebuild. I have around 10 forums/database, so if I can somehow update datastore without going into each forum, it would be really helpful. |
