Default My new forum...

<a href="http://www.yonkyu.com/forum" target="_blank">http://www.yonkyu.com/forum</a>

as you can tell its very new and i hardlty have any members. Its 3.0.3 with a combo of vB influence and 3.0.3 stuff as well. The site itself is new and the one thing i need is to get a reason for the site. Like I have discovered people look for a forum for a specific interest and usually stick around for other aspects including the original reason. My only thing is that the basis for the site is to cover all sorts of interests....any comments or suggestions would be wonderful. Thnx in advance...

Sorry, the yellow in the style puts me off. It doesn't match grey at all. The way it's used in the header it does, but it's overused in the actual style.

I agree, the yellow in the header is only slightly different but it does make a difference. Its not just that either its used much more subtly in the header. After a few days on the site you may become blind because of the yellowness of the forums sections.

Chill it out a bit i know you want to intergrate a bit of yellow in , but ease it up a bit. The gray is dull and the yellow is boring. The colours don't go together to well. But your headers fine just try mixing the CSS around a bit more to get the right blend and colours.

Either that or start the whole style again..... :ninja:

thnx guys, yeah i have another style on there that I had changed just a little bit from the vB provided Power Blue look. I did the yellow/gray one only because it matched the front page and yellow and black are school color. The site is currently only for me to test and learn vB. As soon as I get it setup like I want to I am going to start advertising it around campus to try and get a lot of student involvment since the idea was for a place where students here at my school can post with other students. Thnx for the feedback.
