hmm having problems with mods....
since the site went totally messed up for like 10+ hours yesterday cus of technical support from my host, i have had alot of problems, a bunch of posts have vanished, but no posts counts have gone so thats no real biggy, but mods haven't been able to use there powers, like when trying to stick, move, close e.t.c it just says they dont have permission. yet when i check it says they are mod or smod in the admin cp... anybody any ideas as to what might be wrong here because this is seriously confusing me

Always backup, next find a more reliable host.
I would suggest trying to change a mods permissions to Moderator, then back to Super Moderator. This may sort that small problem. It seems that it's your hosts fault, don't they backup or a regular basis? |

this is really strange.. may be a cookie problem... but it's not the way vB works... you're supposed to be able to use it from any browser known, and without limitations... is your host changed details in the server lately ?!

not to my knowledge... the only thing they did was increase the allowed mysql user connections so we dont get the error we keep getting, other than that, i have no idea
