A Paypal option would be ideal.

oh yeah if they transfer to paypal.They would surely cut some percentage for it.

I love google adsense - use it on many of our site. I do see an issue though when I have the code on the vBulletin boards. Where have you all incorporated this? I have had it in the header on my boards and soooo many times the ads that show are for "password' or "vbulletin" sites which are not things that visitors will click on. It seems that most the time, on the boards, it isn't using adwords associated with the content on the boards, but with the vBulletin script

I use AdSense in a sidebar. I've done a lot of customization to vB with regard to the scripts generating page and thread titles such as the 'archive' (I call mine the 'Index'), forum home, forum listings and threads. vB doesn't use H1 tags so it does suffer in some SE rankings. The way I have mine set up the advertisements Google serves are almost always relevant to the page.

One thing that's time consuming that I have done on my main board, and do every day, is retitle new threads. So many people title a thread along the lines of "Help me!" or such that - especially in the archive listing - they really don't address the thread content. I have also found fewer people start new threads when there are threads exist (when the title is detailed enough people seem to start fewer redundant threads). And I like it a lot because I like to be able to narrow searches by searching thread titles.

I've seen an increase in traffic of over 60% since last January when I started SEOing the main site and for many of my key words I'm in the first page or 2nd page in Google searches.

One thing I have noticed is Google has been paying less and less - since April 1 of this year - for click throughs. It seems to have leveled out a bit but while I'm seeing a lot more traffic I'm making a bit less than I was pre-April 1.

If you're paying for a check to be deposited you must be talking about a check drawn on a foreign bank sent through the mail.

You all need to remember not everyone has a bank account and not everyone is in the USA. Banks in most other countries charge them to cash a US check.
