One thing I liked about 3 that isnt in 5 (that I know of) is the multiple playlists.

Ah, but that was Winamp3 1.0 build #488d, not Winamp 3.0. Now called Wasabi.player and being rebuilt by the former employees of Nullsoft that had worked on it and more.

And Natch: There is no 2.93 The last public Winamp 2 version was 2.91, although 2.92 and 2.95 were leaked as well, followed by the Winamp 5.0 Alpha leak.

Personaly i really like winamp 5 in classic mode

Same here.

Modern skins are nice for the eye candy, but my Winamp is in the taskbar for most of the time anyways.

Ditto, and the eyecandy can really drive processor usage on some older machines. and i have only found one or two WA3/5 skins i really like and its not worth it on my 1800+

I also use winamp 5 with a classic skin.
a very plain and dark one ^^
