wow how immature are some people
uploading music to use in your jukebox isnt illegal is it? i mean they are none downloadable only streamed so technically it is a radio which isnt illegal.
anyway one of my "members" was annoying everybody else, and got himself banned, then comes back, gets banned again, and then the same again. so he then goes and snitches saying we are uploading copyrighted files for use for illegal download, yet the only files we uploaded are music for the jukebox |

Depends if you're using .mp3 copies, or .mid interpretations..
If you're using .mp3, or any similarly "real" format (.wma, .mpc, .ogg) of the tracks in your jukebox that you haven't received permission to use is deemed as illegal. Most .mid interpretations are free of copyright, however this is not the case with all of them. |

For example, a doctor had to stop playing music in his surgery waiting room because it was found that he had to pay royalties to the musician whose music was being played. Ridiculous? Yes. But it's the law. [This was an Australian case - not sure about US law but since we share the same international IP treaties, I guess it would be similar if not the same]. |
