I have a wacky idea that I'm gonna try and code this weekend...

It's called vB Messenger. What it is, is a simple popup window that sits on your desktop and does nothing more than show your buddy list like in an AIM format. However, for my own purposes, I'm going to add the VolanoChat applet into it, since VolanoChat is the 2nd biggest piece of my pie next to vBulletin.

So, basically, the window would have the following data:

Buddy List (with location info, online time, etc.)
PM indicator (flashes when # of pm's is greater than 0)
VolanoChat applet (optional)
some basic site stats

If anyone's interested, I'll release it. It will only require an extra template, and the membership database scripts (included) for anyone using VolanoChat.
