What is a good software script for content management that integrates well with vBulletin?
Here are the key features we are looking for: -USER submitted content Users submit reviews, editorials, programs, etc., through a form, and it awaits validation from a "content manager". Once it's validated, it lists itself in the database. We want the users to be able to add attachments, as well. -full forum integration We want something that integrates perfectly with vBulletin. We want our current forum members to automatically have accounts with our sites, and for future members to only have to register one account for both. We want to be able to add current threads to our site homepage. We want to be able to make a few clicks and have our main page look just like our forums (as far as themes go, anyway). Really, these are the two things we are looking for. We've tried ocPortal but didn't like it. We are THINKING about vbAdvanced, although we aren't sure that we want something that DEPENDS on vBulletin, in case we decide to go with another forum software later (which probably won't happen, but hey, who knows?). Any ideas? |

I spoke to someone who was running that yesterday. It seems quite nice. You can use it across domains (don't know about the licensing) but choose which site to post the articles on and then on the individual sites it pulls the relevant articles. It's pretty good for networks

Upon reading, it appears that it's compatible with vB2.x, but doesn't mention 3.x. So, I'm iffy.
Plus, I'm not sure if it allows for user submitted content (as opposed to staff submitted). Any ideas of vBadvanced CMPS is user submitted? |
