okay, Jake bunce over at the .com site was helpful enough to give me this:
<table class="tborder" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="1" border="0" width="100%"> <tr> <td class="page" valign="top" width="175"> <table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" width="100%"> <tr valign="bottom"> <td valign="top"> <div style="font-size:14pt">$post[username]</div><br /> <div class="smallfont">$post[postdate] $post[posttime]</div> $post[field21] </td> </tr> </table> </td> <td class="page"> <if condition="$post['title']"> <div><strong>$post[title]</strong><br /> </div> </if> <if condition="$post['attach']"> <div class="smallfont"><phrase 1="$post[attach]">$vbphrase[x_attachments]</phrase></div> </if> <div>$post[message]</div> </td> </tr> </table> <br /> to use in place of the current printthreadbit template. it shows the username to the left, as well as date and time. my problem is that when i add in my field data, it modifies the page in no way shap or form. here is what i'm putting in: <if condition="$post[field5]"><div align="left">$post[field5]</div></if> <if condition="$post[field6]"><div align="left">$post[field6]</div></if> <if condition="$post[field9]">$post[field9]</if> <if condition="$post[field10]">$post[field10]</if> <if condition="$post[field11]">$post[field11]</if> <if condition="$post[field7]"><div align="left">Phone: $post[field7]</div></if> <if condition="$post[field8]"><div align="left">Fax: $post[field8]</div></if> this all works fine in my legacy template, but not in this new template. am i putting it in the wrong place or what? |
