okay, Jake bunce over at the .com site was helpful enough to give me this:

to use in place of the current printthreadbit template. it shows the username to the left, as well as date and time. my problem is that when i add in my field data, it modifies the page in no way shap or form. here is what i'm putting in:

this all works fine in my legacy template, but not in this new template. am i putting it in the wrong place or what?
