Cats are werid creaters indeed. It is true that they don't in most cases love their owners to the point a dog would, this is very true if your cat was a stray or raised by its real mother.

If you raise a cat from the time it was born or before it opens it's eyes it can see you has its 'owner' and will probbly show you more 'love' then a stray or one raised by a cat.

Cats will take to anyone that will feed them, and are impossible to train in most cases.

Dogs on the other hand will take to humans better, they will also attempt to learn from and protech their owners. Honestly if you have the room for a dog to run they are better pets imo, it just takes a responible owner to have a dog. You can't leave him food and water and show him no love and expect him to love you like one of the family. Dog also require strong owner, if they see themselves as the dominate animal they will attempt to take over the control of the house hold.

Ever meet a dog that dose anything it wants and won't listen to its owner? It dose this because it belives that it is the head of the family pack, often times you will find such dogs in homes where the family treats them like big spoiled babies.

Cat > Dog.

That is all. But I'd also like to know how the poor kitten turned out.

* Veterinary attention to reduce or end suffering from disease or injury
* A sanitary environment

To willfully abandon an animal

To Subject, Cause or Procure an animal:
* To be tortured or tormented
* To be cruelly killed, beaten or mutilated

To fail to notify the owner or police after striking a dog or cat with a motor vehicle.

To use animals as lure or bail in a cruel or inhuman manner

To transport an animal in the back of a motor vehicle unless animal is properly restrained.

Check your facts. Then, if I were you, I'd RECHECK them.
Only a few states will even recognize a cat as personal property. Due to the fact that they roam "wild" and are allowed to come and go as they please.

A good example of this is when a neighbors cat got into my friends home through an open window and killed his $2500 Parrot. He caught the cat restraigned it in the bathroom and called to police. According to them there was nothing they could do. As no law was actually broken. On the flip side, if a dog were to do the same thing, the owners would be liable. Needless to say the cat "disappeared" mysteriously one day. Gee, I hope nothing bad happened to it.

Cats are vicious predators. I had a few cats get into my dads chicken coop and killer every single bird we had. We took care of those with a model 94 winchester 30-30.

Then there was the time two cats killed our ducks and 14 ducklings.

Yea, cats are so cute. Give me a dog anyday.

THATS CALLED NATURAL CYCLE OF EXISTENCE.

HUMANS KILLING ANIMALS ARE NOT NATURAL. !!!!

If we went about killing every animal that hurt us, how different are we from any other dumb animal.

MAN I can't believe people still think like this in the 21st century. GOD. !!
There's a reason why they put away cats somewhere in a home or just away from where they can do harm!! YOU DONT JUST GO KILLING ANIMALS LIKE THAT !!!!!!!

I've had 42 cats, 20 dogs and hundreds of birds total since I was a kid and cats HAVE killed equally numerous creatures as dogs have, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK DOGS DONT KILL EITHER. THATS WHY PEOPLE TRAIN ANIMALS. !!!!! WE TRAINED THEM. AND THE WILD ONES WILL ALWAYS REMAIN WILD. NATURAL LAW ! YOU CANNOT GO KILLING ANIMALS LIKE THAT MY GOD!!!!!!! KANGAROOS IN AUSTRAIA, CATS in urban cities and DOGS IN CENTRAL ASIA ???

GOD I hope you people find peace one day. Where I come from, killing a dumb hungry creature which killed another means no more than that person is no different from any other inhuman creature. Period. Thats why we have brains and education for crying out loud.

If you saw the amount of misery small animals have to go through because of people .. who think they're bigger than natural selection, and people like me and my family have to work hours to nurse those same animals back to health....it's not funny. In this case you can't fight fire with fire.. period. I'm ashamed at how people respect little of the world they live in.

Full grown adults acting like utter immature asses. Behind all their 'guns' and 'car'... I often wonder what kind of upbringing people have to have to love a piece of metal more than a creature of living flesh and blood.

Adrenelene is one thing, losing control of the mind is another.

Who said anything about an urban city?

You need to get off your soap box. I have found peace., I grew up on a farm were coyotes killed cattle, etc. You are so far off it is frightning. It is called protecting your lively hood. Get over yourself.

Humans killing animals is not natuaral? Where are you from? You ever eat a hamberger, chicken dinner, etc? Or are they not animals? If you want to get technical humans are mamals too.. Oh wait you say that in your next sentance.. LOL

So one second you say that cats hunting is natural and you should lock them away, and then you state you trained them. So you trained the hunter right out of them huh?

Yea I believe that.. NOT.

FYI, I'm from North eastern India.. where tigers roam free ? Elephants ? snakes? heyenas ? foxes ? perhaps if you havn't heard ? Tropical rainforests with significant animal population maybe ? You think coyotes killing cattle is that bad ?..try pythons wrapping sheep  and neither do we consume bovine creatures because killing the dumb because they are dumb means nothing more than we are dumb. If you find that offensive then I'd suggest you get over yourself. Logic is logic, life is life. And dear sir, you have no idea of the definition of peace. If you did, then you'd know the 1st step towards attaining peace is to attain peace with the environment and its elements. Not earn a profit out of it.

Humans are sentient beings, they operate on a higher level of INTELLIGENCE. ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY WE ARE NO DIFFERENT FROM ANY OTHER MAMMAL ?

I have eaten hamburgers, I have had chicken dinner, and yes, we even had a hencoup, cattle milking stands and even a swan pond right under our homes.

But at the same time WE HAD CATS , DOGS AND PREYING BIRDS. The animals under our care are our responsibility. We've had cat attacks and dog attacks. Not once did we kill a SINGLE ONE.

Read the statement carefully. We've had cat attacks. ! But 3 months down the lane, those same cats were our pets. How ? Natural law again, give any animal it's satisfactory objective aslong as long as it's capable of having a history to be domesticated, it can be done. We FED THOSE CATS. WE FED THOSE CATS SO FAT THEY WERE SPOILT ROTTEN TILL THE POINT THEY STARTED PLAYING WITH THE BIRDS ! Don't believe me ? pity I didn't have a digicam to take a picture of thoes cats frolicking with some of those birds..

Cats are proud creatures, treat them with pride and they will live a life of pride to serve the same who treat them. Dogs on the other hand are dependent or totally wild. Cats ALWAYS have a side that can be domesticated to ones benefit.

It's a different story you've never even tried that in your life, but then again..I wouldn't expect any traditional east Indian to walk up and explain natural selection to everyone.

All I'm saying is they're simply animals each with their qualities. One can achieve much more when living in harmony with them than rather fighting them. All they want is food, thats all they want. simple.

I know what it's like to lose the animals one raises since their birth, we just kept a tighter watch over everything because we dont believe in killing a dumb creature for being accord to their own nature. I'm not trying o start a fight, I'm just saying hunting animals suffer too. Thats all.

I have no issue with your beliefs. What you believe is fine. But, you have no right to tell me that my beliefs are wrong simply because they are different than yours.

If you want to make a pet out of something that slaughters your livestock, have at it. I would rather protect what is mine how I see fit.
