I will be moving my board from a host that is PHP4, to one that is PHP3. What exactly will I need to change, and will it be compatible? My main thing that I want answered is will the board be compatible AT ALL, but also will my hacks be compatible, so if you could answer both things, that would be great.

Stars is so simple, it has to be php2 compliant (sorry Freddie). I believe Ed said the PM hack was compliant with 3.

Anything I write on the other hand might not be because I would have access to a PHP3 server to test and too lazy to check every function in the manual.

Yes, I run it on PHP 3.0.16 (IIRC). I need to compile a 3.0.9 sometime...

The host has PHP 3.0.15 installed. PM's will not work with that?
