HTML thumbnails, how to create?
I need an image gallary for my site to put some pics up. Does anyone have any good coding for a true thumbnail gallary. So that when the thumbnails are clicked they get enlarged into a seperate screen with nothing but the pic?
Thanks, an example can be found here: http://www.fast-autos.net/ford/fordgtrconcept.html |

Yeah bro, thats called Direct linking... theres not really a code, other than making one small image, then linking it to the larger image when you click on it. Or you can do this, do the coding then add the width= height= at the end, then link it.

If you are going to be dealing with lots of images, then you may want to consider some 3rd party tools. The gallery is really good. It allows you to upload the pictures from your desktop, and it will automatically resize the images for you. You just have to specify the width and hieght on the admin pannel. It is hard to customize though. Photopost allows you to do the same, and it is pretty easy to customize, but it isn't free. Check out the links.

Coppermine is an excellent gallery and I think it is free, too.
