Forum Invasion dead locks

I was thinking of when were the admin could designate the incoming url (for example foruminvasions.com) and all the users comming from that site who are going to (mysite.com/BBS) would be re-directed towards some awful site for invading forums. Also if theres a flood of new registrations for obvious forum invasions registration would intelligently close its self down until a admin enables it again.

I don't think this a hack or anything, but I am not sure exactly how it is done. Maybe something in .htaccess?

I know that if you are on http://www.anyoneseenthebridge.com/msgboard and you try to link to any thread on http://www.nancies.org/boards , you get re-directed back to the original thread.
