Anyone able to help me with this banner hack code?

This banner used to work fine with vB 2.x.x. It 'stopped' working with 3.0.0 though.

It's a pretty simple mod. You update files with forum database info. And upload.
Then you go /banner/index.php , chose what color you want and enter text and press ok. It says ' Banner updated'

Problem is it no longer updates the scrolling banner after i click ok.
It only shows up when i updated counters.

Could anyone tell me what to change or update it?
Feel free to add any additional options you'd like.

Yeah, i am completly clueless when it comes to php however. So not sure if it's a simple addition or major one.

So if someone could check it out for me that would rock.
