Can anyone help me with my bulletin board that has crashed on a database error that I am unfamiliar with.
It had happened while playing in the Arcade hack of the site this afternoon. I checked the Admin and couldn't get into that area. I recently tried to acess the database thru the website itself "phpMyAdmin 2.4.0 - Login" and I keep getting a reply "too many connections" ???? The e-mail that was sent from the database is as follows: Database error in vBulletin : Link-ID == false, connect failed mysql error: mysql error number: 0 Any help would greatly be appreciated. :disappointed: |

I used to get that error when my site was too busy, or as Faraneth referred to it as server overload. If you have a busy site on a small server that's what my guess would be, and if mysql was down your host would've probably contacted you in advance ( hopefully ). You can always sumbit a support ticket to your host or try and contact them.
