quote in postbit

hello, i have installed a new skin and the quote button doesn't work...i have this code in the postbit template:
<a href="newreply.php?s=$session[sessionhash]&action=newreply&postid=$post[postid]"><img src="{imagesfolder}/quote.gif" border="0" alt="Quote Message"></a>

then when i click on the quote button only the re: title is displayed and not the whole quote plus i get this error on top of the page:
Parse error: parse error, expecting `T_STRING' or `T_VARIABLE' or `T_NUM_STRING' in /home/abolic/public_html/forums/newreply.php(47) : eval()'d code on line 1

any idea how can i change it to make it work? (btw i'm brand new to this)
