Sorry, it's starting to get late. Well, and I'm starting to get old. The mind is slipping.
PP does not use VB templates. PP has a hack available that will bring in the vb header and footer, and another that you can use to display gallery listings in the forum index display, along with some featured photos thumbnails. But PP itself still uses the PP templates.
However, when I finish up with some of the items on the top of my list, further down the list is to circle back round to PP. I already edited all of the PP template files in order to bring in vb style classes and to tweak the layouts, in order to get a better "vb" feel to the gallery. I need to still figure out how to bring in the correct button sets based on which style a user is using. But PP can be set up to draw on vB for the registrations and membership info. It can import usergroups from vB. That's how we're setting access to certain things at the moment. But it is only recognizing the primary usergroup that a user is in, not the secondary usergroups. Thus, in order to grant extra gallery space based on paid subscription in the vb system, the subscription has to change the primary usergroup, rather than just tacking on a secondary usergroup for the user. The resulting issue is that users who are looking at the list of subscriptions in vb can actually bypass the first level membership subscription, and just subscribe to one of the upgrade packages, and this gets them full membership access to the site.
Is that clear as mud? LOL!
