Default Newbie Hacks

Well, I just switched to vBulletin, and I've been scrounging around the forums all night.

I'm trying to build my MMOG site around vBulletin, but the problem is, I can't quite figure out how to put content in the main page (other then plain static text).

I'm using vbAdvanced right now, the Portal system available for 3.x on these forums, but I want to be able to create some dynamic content pages for things such as a Bestiary (a guide/listing of creatures in a game), and other similar sections.

Some of it can be done through forums, but other stuff needs to be done through the systems I've created.

Any help would be appreciated, as I'm not sure where to start in this..

To ensure we get your requirement right:
Do you want to generate kind of a frame driven by vBulletin's templates but with the ability and freedom to fill the "main content area" with whatever code you want? (Dynamic and Static)

Basically, I just want to create a 'forum post' that i can link to, that has dynamic/static php content, I guess you could say kind of framesish, but without the Frames.

http://sieged.net is the current site, and I need to move the content from http://ff11worlds.com to a subdomain, using a similar fashion that the main site uses..

Ok a little bit more detail, I kind of figured out a bit but..

http://www.sieged.net/ <-- thats the page

What I want to do, is have a similar page, displaying a different center piece of information (possibly include a dynamic .php or something into it?)

For example;

I have sieged.net, keep it looking how it is.

ffxi.sieged.net:

On the left, I can change the blocks, and do like a ?page=bestiary type thing to dynamically include a .php into a center block (I can figure this out through templates I think), and also use a different theme on the subdomain

uxo.sieged.net:

Similar to the other, same type of stuff, but yet another theme for this subdomain.

All of this I want to use the vB Database/setup with.

If this isn't possible, the least I'd like to do is use the vB sessions etc within my already builts pages (but I'd prefer to do the kind of portal look with the vB styles over this..)

If anyone can help it'd be GREATLY appreciated, post here, or contact me
