Add a vB Tools forum
Well, the name could be different.
A tools forum is a forum where members can upload "tools" specifically made for vB. A "tool" is not necessarily a software; it could be an html page, doc, or an excel file that helps the administrator from doing his job. The only forum that comes close is the Modification Hints and Tips. However, it doesn't imply tools. Thus, it may be overlooked. Perhaps changing the title to vB Tutorials & Tools (make Hints and Tips a sub-category). Also, the Tutorials & Tools forum should be in a category by itself (symbolizing how important it is) before the "Code Modifications vB3" forum. In this manner, your members will see this forum first and may read it before actually posting a question in the "General Coding Questions". Furthermore, the tutorials/tools found in this section may help your users understand How To Install a vbulletin Hack: Guide to Newbies or Upgrade your hacked board in less then 30 minutes. just my 2cents on making vbulletin.org a better place |

"vBulletin Coding Tips, Tricks, and Utilities"
I think it could work. |

I like "Utilities". However, I do think you should separate tips/tricks from utilities and tutorials. As it looks now (the forum), it looks like it will have many "short" tips. Thus, pushing all the good "stuff" down. Stuff that people have taken the time to put together.
great job everyone! |
