mysql error number: 1054
Hi,
I did a restore on my test forum and now I get this message when I try to veiw the posts in a thread. Any ideas? Thanks! How are you logging in? I think that is a log in or permission error. |

Nevermind...
Sorry, I had the vB3 Attachments hack installed and reran all 5 of it's queries and it fixed it. Any idea why the back up and restore would not have restored them? |

I don't know. That's why I always use shell access.
Much simpler to reinstall the sql files. In 2.3.3 as you know, the importer is a hack. I don't use that at this time. Glad you worked it out though. Sorry. Happy New Year! |

Hi Andy,
Thanks for your idea. I did not refresh the page when I made my 2nd post and didnt see that you had replied. I was logged in under an admin account. I have never been able to SSH/Telent succesfully into my production host so I have had to go with a 3rd party restore solution (MySQL backups manager by Indexsoft) when I need to recover. I didnt have too much luck with getting the restore hacks working when I tried them but that was a while ago. Thanks again, You too, have a happy new year. Chris |
