Registered user having admin cp access
Hey,
This is a bit of an odd request, but let's say that I have a user that I want to have admin CP access, but I don't want to change his usergroup from "Registered." Is there a way to do this while keeping him in the default Registered user group? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! |

Can't you just add in verification (not sure if exact code so I'll translate into english)
if usergroup is (adminusergroup) or userid is (id_of_registered_member) allow access to admincp ? Regards, Patrick |

My trick for doing this without hacking, was to create another usegroup with the same options as registered except for "access control panel" was ticked, it has the same usergroup title as registered so other members aren`t aware of the extended status of members in this other group, and then I just placed any members I wanted to give admin cp access too into that usergroup..
