Help with MySQL error.

I know it's stickied but I don't understand how to fix this. I just installed vBhome Lite and it gave me this error when I went to the index.php page:

I tried searching for the code in index.php. Does this have anything to do with the error:

Maybe the error doesn't know where the $articleforum is because it's blank in the top part?

Change some of your settings in your Admin CP/vbulletin options/front page

Just mess things about and save, then reload your front page, lemme know if that works

Wow. It works, But it doesn't show my articles from my Announcements forum. Do you know how to fix this?

No problem, just doing my job! Lol nah i had that error most of the time aswell and noticed thats a way to fix it

As for your other one, mine fixed itself after a little while, and some more posting in the appropriate sections if you understand me.

Hmm. Right now I'm playing with it a little. I noticed that when I add more Forum ID's in the "Articles Forum" option It shows articles but when I put less (like from 1 -3) it doesn't show anything.

Hmm that sounds familiar. Try working around it, like having 3 or 4 forums show

Okay, I got it to show the articles. I just need one more question than I'm set. When it shows my articles it doesn't show the words. I know I should play with it a little but I don't think I have time to go through all the numbers from 1 - Million in the "Maximum Character to show" option. Got any ideas?

Nopes im just in the process at learning php etc
I had all the problems you have mentioned but for me they just sorted themselves out. If yours dont i suggest you ask for help in the portals thread as that is where you will stand more chance of getting a helping response (Usualy from the portals author as they seem to be pretty good at helping out errors when it comes to their portals)
