Reserve specific BBCode for Mods ?

I am looking for a way to make certain custom BB tags only available for moderators. I thought censoring the applicable tags would do the trick, but alas.. the BBCode parsing takes place before the Censoring.

Does anyone have a clue how to solve this ? It would be a very handy way to make certain automatic formatting available to moderators.. with little overhead.

this is the long way to acheive what you wanna acheive but should do the trick

anyway in your functions.php find

make 2 conditionals around it the first will be if any of the vbcodes you want then check usergroup if ok then do vbcode else make a little javascript pop up to say you are not authorised to use this vbcode

i would help you more but i'm nto on my computer and thus have no access to the code in order to try and wrtie the conditinals for you
