So will most of vB2's hacks be changed over? (i know this is up to the author of the hack). I wonder if they would make the hacks better in anyway. Hmmm Just my two cents but it seems like I, and most other people, cannot judge vB3 until it is officialy released, I mean, how do we know that they are not holding back some new features or anything until the final release? Maybe they made their own store hack
I doubt that, I dont think they would add something like the store hack to the stock code, as it will add alot of bloat to the product.
From alot of the questions begin posted lately (not just in this thread) it sounds like alot of people have never gone trough majior version release peroids... If a hack was popular the hack author will most likely port it, if not someone else that used the hack will pick it up and re-release it for the new version.
Honestly if you are worried about hacks not getting ported the best thing you can do it learn php and SQL. Then learn the inner workings of vB. Then code whatever you need yourself.
