I want to run a series of forums, each existing on a different domain. All domains will run off of one server and one IP address. Now, is there any hack available that would allow all these forums to share one user account database so if a one user registers at one of the forums he'll be able to login using the same login info without having to register again?

There's not currently a hack which will do this but many people have asked this before. Try searching around and you'll find discussions on ways this "could" be implemented

vBulletin 3 looks like it will be able to do this at one point, if you look at the source code theres some code you can experment with.

Snowbot, thanks for letting me know. I take it then that you can't release this hack until v3 is released. Do you know or can you tell me if all the forums will function under one database or will each forum be independent with one of them acting as the parent forum that houses the username info. If I have a few forums already will I be able to merge them into one forum?
