I got an email from someone on VB.org (sort of hate mail)
saying my site is using ilegal copy of PhotoPost, i had enough of this accusations

this is the 5th time i got this kind of email through vb.org mailing form

The Gallery on my site is coded by my partner (the other admin) of the site and purely from scratch, no stand alone panel and etc, all using vbulletin base and also integrated with vb user profiles

our site is 100% using legal script! again, We do not use photopost nor ripped their code!

Contact one of the Admins/Mods here with the usernames of those who've been emailing you.

Besides, your gallery looks far better than PhotoPost IMO

It amazes me how many people run around playing internet cop. Worst is they are usually wrong. Nosey bodies with too much time on their hands or jealous.

Indeed, ignorant people.

If a script performs like another, that doesn't mean they're exact. Programming is very extensive, and there's multiple ways of getting one thing done. Those complainers are just envy that somebody with skill was able to code their own gallery, while they probably had to buy Photopost.

I'm vGallery Creator,
Neopiper is right, we did not rip nor we used any code from photopost, the gallery software was written for personal & private use as we couldn't find the necessary software to meet our demands of what we wanted it to look and operate.

Ideas were taken from deviantart(mainly), yaxay, 4-images & photopost, the main major galleries currently on the web, as Ideas are not copyright or illegal we used them for the development of the vGallery and implementation of our own ideas into the development of the software.

This software is not for sale and it never will be if anyone is asking this question.

Currently the software is under redesign and is being reconstructed for vbulletin3 Final release, which will be totally CSS 2 based & search/spider friendly.
