Referer hack wanted?

Hi all
I'm new to the forum. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could get a hack that would only allow people to register from a particular page only (within my password protected area).

This is beacuse I want a forum viewable to all who visit but because I run a subscription site, I want people to subscribe to my members area before being able to post to my forum.

im not 100% sure on this...BUT...

what you could do is let people sign up, and only let non payed members look at the forum, but that you edit the forum access mask for regular members then you could set it up to where "subscribed" members can view the complete forums aswell as make posts..ect im using 2.X.X so im not 100% sure how 3.0.0 works..you would have to ask someone thats running that im using 2.X.X and i have it set up to where normal members can view all my forums but then only "subscribed" members can view my "adult" forum...im not sure how its set up on 3.0.0 but in 2.X.X you go in your Admin CP scroll down to "User Groups" then click on "Modify" then go to where it says "Registered" you will see "[edit]" on the right side, click on that and edit what registered members can do...then when that member is a "subscribed" member they can have complete access to the forums.
