Man...I have a MAT (Moderator/ Administrator Thread) on my forums and I only want Mod/Admin to be able to post in it.

Simply make important threads in a private forum. There is no simple way to make one thread password protected and guarantee security.

I would also like this request for pretty much the same reason, it really isn't a big thing if others found the password, but I could use it for some cases on my board, but it seems no one is going to do this.

Not necessarily from other hacks. I'm just saying that there are so many places that the thread and post tables are referenced that it would be nearly impossible to completely secure it, especially from hacks that you haven't used and don't know what queries they use.

Possiablly, but as the ongoing thing have see on vb.org is "is this possiable" and it is, you can go around it in many different ways... but no matter with what there is always a hole somewhere.
