No Signature
Does a hack exists that allows the admin to specify that a certain user is not allowed to use a signature?
Eg if a user abuses the right to use a signature, by making it excessivly long over and over, I want to be able to prevent him/her editing their sig. (Admin can still edit) |

I haven't seen one, but it seems like you could add template controls and remove the box to edit specific features for either specific users or user categories by installing
Advanced templates https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthrea...ht=conditional or the more advanced web templates hack http://www.vbulletin.org/hacks/index...ck&hackid=1321 Regards, Matt |

While it would be a nice hack, I instead strongly suggest a different administrative action, such as banning (temporary should you feel so and have vB3). Let him know that it's your forum and he has to follow your rules.

Yes I agree a temp Banning would be a good idea, But i think that Just disabling the signature is a much nicer way of doing it than an outright ban.
