18 is the legal drinking age in the uk. not saying that he can drink though, just that he's allowed to

Oh, I thought he was in the US. Yes, in Australia, the drinking age is also 18. In the US (the poor sods) it's 21.

18 is just as much of a teenager as a 13 year old, if not more as he's been a teenager for many years

I think it goes 13 - 18 is teenager, 12 - 20 is Adolescense and 18+ is Adult.
