I'm having a problem with this part ... when I set a custom field to be *Required* ... it doesn't show up. When I set it to "Not Required" ... it does.

Where do I begin to unravel this problem ?

Try checking your member.php for any changes you made.

And oh by the way, when you change the requied field that doesn't show up, to an optional field, does it show up? (Not sure if you were talking about 2 different fields).

But I'm sure you'll find your answer somewhere hidden in member.php

It's an optional field ... if I change any of them to required, they don't show in the member's profile, or in the registration pages.
