Limiting the size of the user signature

hmm Zzed, why don't you do it like i did here on vb.org.
Whenever someone submists an invalid sig, within the usercp, he get's an errormessage containing the sig rules.

that way he doesn't loose any data, and also you don't have to change the db structure

I assume that is an unpublished hack.

But my other reason for doing it the way I did stems from my laziness. I didn't want to code any intermediate error screens to enforce the sig guidelines.
