can my server able to run vbb?
Hi,
My server's setup is PIII 1Ghz, 256MB RAM, 40GB EIDE Linux Redhat 7.3, Mysql 3.23.43, PHP4.2.2. apache 1.3.27. If I want to buy vbb and install on it and the load will be about at least 300 users access at same time. Will the mysql server over load the EIDE hard drive? Also where to check the price of the vbb? I can't seem to find it on this site. Thanks |

256MB RAM is a but low for 300 users online - you will get a lot of disk swaps - I would go for at least 512 or better yet, 1 GB.
The price of vB is $160 for a full license - check out www.vbulletin.com |
